Adult Membership & Fees
When we looked at other Community Band / Choir organizations during the summer of ’07, most charged a “monthly fee” to members, so that music can be purchased, workshops arranged, administrators hired, and honorariums can be given to those individuals who are doing the bulk of the work…in short, so their musicians can choose to pay, play and leave without consequence! Therefore, the All-City Band Society Executive decided to require a $100.00 membership fee per adult (not attending High school) – funds that may be post-dated or drawn from one’s individual Fundraising balance. There are at least 4 opportunities during the year to raise individual funds. If you need funding consideration (ex: monthly payments, etc.), please speak to one of the directors – arrangements can be made.
If you do not own your own instrument, there is a selection of larger instruments available for use. A user fee of $120 per school year for all instruments, including percussion, is charged. The fee is due at the beginning of September or when contracts are updated in June, if you would like to use the same instrument over the summer or throughout the next school year.
